As a local landscaping partner, our job is to help you. This is why we put so much effort into being a trustworthy and reliable company because we know how much trust you put into us. Through some of the partnerships that we have formed over our many years of both commercial and residential landscape management, clients have routinely let us know we are succeeding in that mission. We say this not to brag, but to touch on a topic that we have been trying to avoid. It is never our intention to force work upon the client, but many partners have been asking us how they can make our lives easier as we service their properties. We thought “why not write a blog about it?” Here are some of the best ways to assist your landscaping company.

How To Best Assist Your Landscape CompanyKeep the Property Clean

Unless you have hired us to perform a property clean up, which is totally fine, we would rather not spend our time picking up debris and trash off the landscape. It makes our jobs take more time, and sometimes lowers the quality of work we are able to perform. Not to mention that we want to show off our high quality of work, not have it ignored because there are plastic bags and fallen bins on the lawn. Simply having staff take a quick walkthrough of the property with a trash bag will do the trick, and you will avoid the potential for festering disease in moisture-ridden debris.

Remove Pets from Outdoor Areas

This one is more for our residential clients, but can also be true of HOA’s and apartment complexes. The last thing we want to do is put one of your pets at risk with our large equipment, so we ask that you keep them inside while we service your property. We have had bad experiences in the past, as pets are often scared by loud noises and unfamiliar faces. As much as we love a cute dog or sneaky housecat, they should be kept away from the hustle and bustle of landscape maintenance.

Communication is Key

One of our primary commitments to our customers is to always keep an open dialogue and be transparent about when we will be on-site and the problems we encounter. What makes our lives a lot easier is when our clients do the same. Our team members are hired because they are reasonable, and trained to be even more reasonable. If you have an issue with our work, tell us. If there is a problem with timing and you need to reschedule, give us a call. The more information you give us to work with, the better experience we can cater for all.

Like Our Work? Feel Free to Refer

We perform great work for our clients because we appreciate their business, and we know much a beautiful outdoor space can mean to someone. All we ask in return is that you spread the word about our quality of work. By all means, be honest, but we are confident that after working with OakLawn, you should be so happy with our landscaping efforts that you just have to tell all your friends!
